Please join us on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM (EST), when Tony Sondhi, (author, consultant, investment advisor, former EITF Member and one of the preeminent experts in the fields of revenue recognition, Lessee and Lessor Accounting for Lease, Securitizations, Statement of Cash flows – reporting and analysis, and financial reporting risks), presents the second webcast of our new series on disclosures provided by publicly traded companies on the impact of the pandemic on their operations and their outlook for the next few months. Tony will discuss selected issues raised by a number of companies representing various industries in their 3Q  (or most current) filings. This webcast will review disclosures from a different group of industries as we broaden our review of the economic landscape building on the first set of industries reviewed on December 15, 2020. This webcast will address selected concerns raised by public companies. We will discuss recognition and measurement uncertainties faced by these companies. Each webcast in this series will address several issues you as a member of your company’s financial reporting team need to know to apply financial reporting guidance. You will learn about the following critical concepts and their practical application (among others) in this webcast series:

  • The significant operating challenges posed by the pandemic.
  • Whether your company needs review or develop estimation, measurement, and other reporting requirements
  • How to integrate recognition, measurement and disclosure related to the pandemic and their implications for financial reporting software
