ASU 2018-15 is the most recent installment of the FASB effort to provide guidance for one of the fastest growing business entities. Most companies today are customers of an increasing number and variety of cloud computing service providers. In April 2015, ASU 201505 provided guidance on accounting for fees paid in cloud computing arrangements.

ASU 2018-15 amends the accounting for implementation, setup and other upfront costs and applies to entities that are a customer in a hosting arrangement. These amendments align the implementation cost capitalization requirements for service arrangements with those for implementation costs incurred to develop or acquire internal-use software licenses.

The registration fee is payable in advance. You will receive confirmation of your registration after we have processed your payment. Registrants who notify A. C. Sondhi of their intent to cancel at least 3 days prior to the day of the program may receive a refund of the fee less an administration charge of up to $50. Registrants who notify A.C. Sondhi of cancellation less than 3 days prior to the program will receive full credit toward a future Executive Education webcast. This credit is good for up to one year from the date of the program to which the cancellation applies. Substitutions can be made at any time without charge. If a course is canceled for any reason beyond our control, it will be rescheduled and the "Refunds" policy will be activated for the new date.
